I would like to thank you all for commenting its so exciting, I will try to post whenever I can finals are coming up soon then I am heading back to kuwait.
Here is part 2 enjoy, let me know what you think.
"mamaty"
"na3am mama"
I was sitting in the study room working on a project for my social studies class it was due the next day and my group left all the work for me.
"guess who just called me?"
I had a loving mother, kind, generous and always putting her children before herself. I was the only one left at home at the time since my sister and her husband were getting their masters in the UK and my 2 brothers were married but neither lived with us. The gap between my sister and I was almost 10 years.
"mm mino?"
I answered her as I sucked on a chocolate bar, something I did when I was nervous.
"aunti nawal"
she had the widest smile I couldnt understand
"remember her son Bader?"
I tried to keep a straight face, of course I knew bader he was my boyfriend he we have been together for almost 2 years now but no one knew.
"mm ee he was my counselor in camp right?"
"yes mama, do you know why she is calling?"
I didnt understand why my mother was playing games with me.
"no mamaty why?"
"well tbech 7g Bader"
I stood there staring at her with a blank expression we brought up marriage and kids but never did we bring up marrying each other.
"shfeech 7beebty?"
"bs im still in school"
I was in my junior year in high school, but I was 16.
"akeed nothing will happen now not until you graduate but he just wants to make sure that you will be his he doesnt want to lose you, shrayich?"
YES YES YES!!!
"mama I will think about it o aby ast5er raby b3dain agolich 3dy?"
"akeed mama take all the time you need"
I went back to the study to finish up my project, I wanted to call him but thought it would be better if I just talked to him on my way to school like always. My cousin, Fay, called and asked me about any homework we talked while I had dinner then I went to sleep. I took the whole week to think about it, and on the weekend ista5rt raby and I felt comfortable with the decision I was making.
At breakfast the next morning.
"ha babaty shgalty?"
"ily tshofa baba"
lowering my head with my pink cheeks
"ya3ne ingoul mabrook?"
I just nodded
My mother hugged me, then my father took me in his lap hugging me tightly
"walla ina rayal yuba o ra7 e7u6ich ib 3youna"
I excused myself and went up to the living room, grabbed my phone.
Nunie: badoori ;p
Badori: 3youny
Nunie: b9er 7alalik :$
I saw him read my message then he called me.
"9ij 7beebty"
"ee I told baba iny imwafqa"
"matadren shkther mistanis bt9ereen lee enshalah"
"enshalah 7beeby bs not now until I finish school will you wait for me?"
"akeed I will wait intay lee ana even if I have to wait until im 50"
We went to bed happy, I couldnt believe he was officially going to be my fiancé in 2 weeks that was when he was coming to the house officially with his parents. We spent a whole year talking all night and texting all morning, my mother hated that I took my phone to school with me but she understood I was young and in love. It was finally graduation, and my father agreed that we would have the engagement in the summer then get married on my second year of university and Bader agreed.
We didnt get engaged that summer, because s3oud came back that summer and messed up all my plans.
